My husband drives a good distance to come get their chimichangas they are the best he has ever had. Great service and great food.
Food was authentic/great portion size. Got the recommended enchiladas (steak and chicken) with an excellent margarita on the rocks. Service east quick and very friendly. Hole in the wall so not the best ambiance/would return and order takeout.
I have been going to this restaurant regularly since I moved here in 5th grade. I've since graduated both high school and college, moved into my own home, and found the love of my life, and I STILL eat her at LEAST once a week. Never been to a Mexican restaurant so insanely good it's borderline addicting. In fact, I literally don't eat Mexican food anywhere else now because it simply doesn't amount to the big bad Taqueria Guerrero. I ate it nonstop for a week once in college, it's that amazing. Hella workers, hella owners, and hella food. Full stop, roll credits.
I know you can't stand it, burrito bandit Done landed, arroz con frijoles handed Chips and queso to get it y'all, guac spit at y'all Put the huevos con jamón on the wall and I hit it y'all The best Mexican restaurant in New Orleans! Everything is awesome!
This place rocks. I'm not a Mexican food expert by any means but this place is more authentic, affordable, and fresh than most other Mexican restaurants in town. I'd definitely come here before Juan's, Felipe's, etc. I love the gordita, chimichanga, and taco salad. The tortilla bowl the taco salad comes in is unreal. The staff here is always warm and fast. We love this place and will never stop coming back!
Taqueria Guerrero has never disappointed since it had it. Small place but definitely provides when I'm craving Mexican cuisine. Laid back environment and I've never seen more than 4 other people in there but they do have plenty of takeout orders. The workers are always friendly and patient and the food is good as well. Only things I don't like are that there is barely any parking and I'm not a huge fan of the salsa.
Most authentic tacos you'll get in New Orleans. I LOVE their enchiladas. Please don't expect Americanized Mexican. This ain't it. AND! They FINALLY have margaritas!!!!!!! Such a win. Ask for Luis and tip well! He's the best!!!
Visited Taqueria Guerrero recently and ordered al pastor tacos and tamales. The tacos were very good and the tamales were huge and very tasty! No need to be a Spanish speaker because the service was friendly and fast. The location is basically in the center of the city and there is parking on the street in front of the shopping center where the taqueria is located. Five stars for the food, friendly service and the convenient location!
Amazing customer service and authentic food at this beloved Mexican spot. We ordered the steak fajitas, the lengua and barbacoa tostadas, and a side of their amazing mole sauce. I definitely recommend trying the lengua (or cow tongue) with its tender and juicy texture.
After searching far and wide for Menudo/Pozole, we asked one of the workers at another Mexican restaurant and he pointed us to Taqueria Guerrero!! it did not disappoint at all. We love that they have Jamaica (Hibiscus tea), Horchata and so much more stuff than the Tex-Mex restaurants in New Orleans. I ordered the Menudo and it was just as I remembered. Hominy, Tripe, and red chili; so much flavor! We're excited to go back to get the Pozole next @phidingthefam
